Food can be perceived as a way of characterizing someone: what they eat, how they eat, how they relate to it and how they use it. All these variants differ from person to person, and the way they experience them is a hallmark of their cultural and social habits, as well as their perspective on the world.

In a time when the presence of food in photography is so common, the act of photographing it came instinctively. Despite being something that is always present in daily life; sometimes to the point of becoming banal and limited, in theory, to a source of subsistence; it is still possible to find extreme beauty in its ingredients, shapes and colors. Contrary to this banality, these foods and bodies appear in an intimate, sensory and ironic way, as if they belong to another reality.
